Tammy & Brendon - Flood Mansion Wedding

Wedding Planner : Jean Marks
Photographer : Chung Li
Wedding Ceremony and Reception : Flood Mansion
Makeup and Hair : Jbeautique
Floral Design : Huckleberry Karen Designs

Instead of telling the story of this beautiful wedding ourselves, we wanted to give you the gorgeous bride Tammy’s thoughts and memories of the wedding:
San Francisco is very special to us – I met both my husband and many of our closest friends at Stanford, and we spent many fun weekends in the city. Since college, many of us have moved all around the world, so it was great to see our friends and family back where it all started. To pay homage to San Francisco’s history, we transported the wedding party and our guests from the hotel to the venue via a classic cable car, and we had custom fortune cookies from Chinatown as wedding favors.
We were intrigued by the idea of an outdoor wedding and reception, but after seeing the Flood Mansion, we knew that it was the perfect venue. To fuse the two ideas together, we decided to bring our favorite elements of the outdoors indoors. We had our ceremony outside in the courtyard. Then the reception moved indoors, where we featured pastel colors, a leaf-patterned ceiling wash, and garden flowers. To add an element of whim, we had a series of small bouquets on each table, placed in teapots and teacups. To end our magical night, we had a four-layered cake with sugar roses and five different types of petite desserts.

Daniela & Patrick ~ Love from Germany

Daniela and Patrick were both from Germany when they met 10 years ago in San Francisco. They fell in love and in love with the beautiful city that they had vowed to come back and get marry here one day. This date came 10 years later and they were both thrilled to be back for their wedding. They wanted a simple ceremony where they can view the Golden Gate Bridge. I love these photos from Chung Li which captured their joy and emotions passionately. It was definitely my pleasure working with Daniela, there was no trial, no meeting before hand as we met each other for the first time the day of her wedding. I'm so glad she was ecstatic with the look I created for her.

Tina & Ricky, Martinelli Event Center Wedding

Tina and Ricky are such an amazing couple and I was really honored to be their makeup artist/hairstylist for their wedding day. Tina booked her trial session a year in advance of her October wedding. She knew exactly what she wanted and was very organized through out the planning process. I especially loved her stunning Monique Lhullier gown which requires a very slim figure in order to wear it well! Tina chose to wear a sleek side bun that resembles a ball and natural makeup that accentuated her eyes. Her bridesmaids all got to decide how they wanted to look and they were all so pretty in their peach colored dresses! Here are some gorgeous photos from Chung Li of Chung Li Photography. It was a fun celebration managed by Kristen Jensen of Sugar Rush Events at the Martinelli Event Center in Livermore. Other talented vendors include florist A. Hana Design, videography by Lee Studio Productions, sound and lighting by Jason Mitchell of DJ Music Solutions.
